SATURDAY HALF-HOLIDAYS.

Saturday half-holiday laws are in force in the following
places:

In the city of Annapolis, by Act of 1894, Chapter 167.
In the city of Baltimore, by Act of 1898, Chapter 198.
In Baltimore county, by Act of 1898, Chapter 152.
In Harford county, by Act of 1898, Chapter 154.
In Montgomery county, by Act of 1898, Chapter 366.
In Cecil county, by Act of 1900, Chapter 87.
In Ellicott City, by Act of 1902, Chapter 151.
In the city of Westminster, by Act of 1902, Chapter 443

ARBOR DAY.

By resolution of the General Assembly of 1894, the Gover-
nor is authorized to designate by proclamation one day in
April, annually, for tree planting, to be known as "Arbor and
Highway Day. ''

REPUDIATION DAY.

The General Assembly of 1894 made November 23rd a bank-
half-holiday in Frederick county, under the title of "Repu-
diation Day," in commemoration of the repudiation of the
Stamp Act in 1765.
