This Commission has entire supervision over the construction and
maintenance of the roads built under the State Road and State-Aid Laws.

The Governor appoints an unpaid commission, not more than two
of whom shall belong to the same political party, one for two years, one
for four years, and one for six years, and as these terms expire a suc-
cessor is appointed for the full term of six years. (Ch. 224, 1918.)
