COUNTY SEAT—DENTON.

Origin of Name—After Lady Caroline Calvert, sister of the last
Lord Baltimore.

Date of Formation—1773. Area—320 square miles. Population—
19,216 (1910).

Court Terms—Jury, first Monday in April and October. Non-jury,
second Monday in January and fourth Monday in June.

Orphans' Court Days—Second Tuesday in February, April, June,
August, October and December.
