Gentlemen of the House of Delegates:

The Senate having refused to concur in amendments pro-
posed by the House to the Senate bill entitled (here insert
title), we respectfully request your Honorable Body to recede
from said amendments, and herewith return said bill.
Or,

The Senate having refused to concur in amendments
proposed by the House to the Senate bill entitled (here
insert title), we respectfully propose, with the concurrence of
your Honorable Body, the appointment of a Joint Commit-
tee of Conference on the disagreeing votes of the two
Houses, and herewith return said bill. We have named as
conferees on the part of the Senate Messrs. —, —
and —.

Should the House agree to recede, the bill stands as
originally passed, by the Senate. Should the House adhere
to its amendments, a message should be sent to the Senate as
follows:
