lected by the school commissioners of the several counties and the

St. Mary's Orphan Asylum of Baltimore, under Chapter 512, 1902,
receives $5,000 for the year 1903 and $5,000 for the year 1904. It is
located on Cold Spring lane, near Roland avenue, Hampton P. O.,
Baltimore county. The object is the care and education of destitute
girls _ from four to fourteen years. They are given an elementary
English education, sewing and housework. Those that show special
aptitude are taught music and stenography. Girls are sent to homes
or other institutions from fourteen to sixteen. Apply to Sister

St. Vincent's Infant Asylum of Baltimore, Lafayette avenue and
Division street, receives from the State $5,000 under Chapter 512,
1902, for 1903 and $5,000 for 1904. Infants of six years are received
and kept until seven, when they are transferred to asylums for other
children unless homes have been provided for them. Apply to Sister

St. Joseph's Hospital, Baltimore, Md., receives under Chapter 512,
1902, $5,000 for 1903 and $5,000 for 1904; provided that it furnish one
bed, maintenance and treatment for one patient at a time from each
Senatorial district of the State.
Lying-in Hospital for Indigent Women receives under Chapter 512,
1902, $3,000 for the fiscal year 1903, and a like sum of $3,000 for the
fiscal year 1904.
Maryland Home for Friendless Children receives under Chapter 512,
1902, $500 for the fiscal year 1903, and a like sum of $500 for the fiscal
year 1904,
St. Vincent's Male Orphan Asylum receives under Chapter 512, 1902,
$500 for the fiscal year 1903, and a like sum of $500 for the fiscal year
1904-
Hospital for Consumptives receives under Chapter 5:2, 1902, $2,500
for the fiscal year 1903, and a like sum of $2,500 for the fiscal year .1904.
St. Mary's Home for Little Colored Boys receives under Chapter
512, 1902, the sum of $250 for the fiscal year 1903 and a like sum of $250
for the fiscal year 1904.
Southern Dispensary of Baltimore receives under Chapter 512, 1902,
$600 for 1903 and $600 for 1904-
Southern Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital receives under
Chapter 512, 1902, $2,500 for 1903 and $2,500 for 1904.
University of Maryland, College of Physicians and Surgeons, and
Baltimore Medical College receive under Chapter 512, 1902, $12,000
for the fiscal vear 1903 and a like sum of $12,000 for the fiscal year
1904; provided that this sum be equally divided between the institu-
tions.
St Joseph's House of Industry receives under Chapter 512, 1902,
$950 for the fiscal year 1903 and $1,250 for the fiscal year 1904.
The Hebrew Aged Home of Baltimore City receives under Chapter
512, 1902, $500 for the fiscal year 1903 and a like sum of $500 for the
fiscal year 1904.
United Charities Hospital Association of Dorchester County,
Maryland, receives under Chapter 512, 1902, $5,000 for maintenance
