Gentlemen of the Senate :

We have received your message announcing that the
present session of the General Assembly will close at mid-
night this date, and suggest that a Joint Committee, to be
composed of three Senators and three Members of the
House of Delegates, be appointed to wait upon the Gov-
ernor for the purpose of communicating this fact and ascer-
taining whether he has any further communication to make.
We respectfully concur therein. We have appointed on the
part of the House Messrs. ————, ———— and ————.
