CABINET APPOINTMENTS. Maryland has received the following Cabinet appointments in the successive Washington's Administration- Washington's 2d Administration— Secretary of the Navy, Benjamin Stoddert, May 21st, 1798. Jefferson's Administration— Benjamin Stoddert continued in office until January 86th, Madison's Administration— Secretary of State, Robert Smith, March 6th, 1809. Monroe's Administration— Jackson's Administration— Attorney-General, Roger B. Taney, 1831, and Secretary of Harrison's Administration— Taylor's Administration— Secretary of the Navy, John P.
