NOTARIES PUBLIC.
Thirty in Baltimore city, paid by fees. Appointed in the counties to the
number the Governor thinks proper. Salary by fees in Baltimore after
the fees reach $500 in a year, and in the counties after they reach $350;
the balance of the fees for the year must be divided between the State and
the Notary.
