1866.] OF THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES. 379 On motion of Mr. Watkins, The rules were suspended, and he presented the following resolution: Resolved, That the thanks of this House are due, and are hereby tendered to the Hon. John M. Frazier, Speaker of the House, for the dignified, faithful and impartial manner, in winch lie has discharged the various and laborious duties, pertaining to him us presiding officer; Which was adopted. On motion of Mr. Watkins, He was excused from further attendance on the present session of the House. The bill entitled, an Act to amend the Act of 1853, chap- ter 318, entitled, an Act incorporating the Bohemis Bridge Company, of Cecil County, Maryland. Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays as follow:
The said bill was then sent to the Senate. The bill entitled, an Act to authorize the Governor of the State and the Comptroller and Treasurer to convey to the United States .of America the Government House and "rounds belonging to this State, in the city of Annapolis, 2nd to procure other site and buildings in lieu thereof; |
