The said bill was then sent to the Senate. Mr. Jones, from the committee on Corporations, reported unfavorably a bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Chesa- peake and Lake Erie Railroad company. Said bill being on its second reading, On motion of Mr. Barron, The said bill was laid over informally. The bill entitled, an Act to authorise the South Baltimore company to hold land to the amount of five thousand, acres, and to increase its capital stock, Was read the third time, and passed by yeas and nays as follow:
