So the amendment was rejected,
Mr. Rinehart moved to strike out the last section;
Decided in the negative.
The bill was then read the second time and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.
Mr. Slothower moved to reconsider the vote by which the
bill entitled, an Act to amend the charter of the Charles
Street Avenue Company was lost;
Decided in the affirmative.

The bill was recommitted to the committee on Corpo-
rations.
The bill entitled, an Act to repeal section 412 of article 4
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Baltimore city, entitled
"Hay and Straw," and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments;
Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.
The bill entitled, an Act to prohibit the sale of liquor
within two miles of Freedom or Trinity churches, in the Fifth
Election District of Carroll county;
Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.
The bill entitled, an Act to revise the Act of incorporation
of the town of New Windsor in Carroll county;
Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.
The bill entitled, an Act to appropriate a sum of money to
pay Thomas E. Dell for the supplemental Code, purchased
by the State. Librarian, in accordance with resolution No. 1,
January session, 1865;
Was read the second time, and by special order a third
time, and passed by yeas and nays as follow:
