42 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Jan. 15, Mr. Valliant, from a Select committee, reported favora- bly a bill entitled, an Act to repeal section 31 to section 40, inclusive, of the Code of Public General Laws, relating to apprentices; Which was read the first time. Also, favorably a bill entitled, an Act to alter and change the name of Rufus Henry Greenhawk, of Talbot county, to Rufus Henry Love; Which was read the first time. Mr. Norris, from a Select committee, reported favorably a bill entitled, an Act to incorporate Freedom Lodge, No. 112, of Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons; Which was read the first time. On motion of Mr. Norris, The rules were suspended, the bill by special order, 'cad the second and third times, and passed by yeas and nays as follow:
The said bill was then sent to the Senate. Mr. Sherry, from a Select committee, reported favorably a bill entitled, an Act to legalize the election of Trustees of the First Lutheran Church, of Frostburg, held November 23, 1865; Which was read the first time. |
