mand of the memoralists be not granted, and submit the fol-
lowing resolutions for the adoption of the Senate:
.Resolved, That the committee on Elections be discharged
from the further consideration of the memorials referred to
them on the subject of the registration law, and the repeal of
section 4, Article first of the Constitution, the prayer being
inexpedient.
-Resolved, That the officers of registration, are hereby ad-
vised to execute said law according to its letter and spirit, in
conformity with the opinion of the Court of Appeals.
