ten dollars, nor more than twenty dollars, to be
sued for and recovered with costs of suit, before
any Justice of the Peace, in like manner as debts
of a similar amount may be sued for and recover-
ed, and with a right of appeal as in such cases. |

Sec. 12. And be it enacted. That nothing herein
before contained shall be construed to prevent a
forfeiture of this charter, in case the provisions of
this Act shall not be complied with. |

Sec. 13. And be it enacted, That nothing herein
contained shall authorize the said Company to
issue note, token or device, to be used as currency. |

Sec. 14. And be it enacted, That the said Com-
pany are authorized to connect its road with the
Baltimore and Frederick Town Turnpike Road)
at any point between the tenth mile stone and the
first toll gate, west of Ellicott's City, on said last
mentioned road. |

Sec. 15. And be it enacted, That the said Turn-
pike Road shall be completed within three years
from the passage of this Act, and that this Act
shall go into effect from the date of its passage,
and that the General Assembly reserves the right
to change, amend or repeal this Act at pleasure. |

AN ACT to repeal the twenty-seventh, twenty-
eighth and twenty-ninth sections of the second
article of the Code of Public Local Laws, title,
Anne Arundel County, sub-title, Almshouse
and to enact another section in lieu thereof
relating to the sale of spirituous liquors to the
paupers at the Almshouse in Anne Arundel
county. |
