transmitted to the said Comptroller by the fourth
section of this Act, he shall as soon as practicable
thereafter proceed to prepare a condensed state-
ment provided for by the twenty-ninth section of
the said Act, to which this Act is a supplement. |

Sec. 6. And be it enacted, That to secure the
completion of the assessment of property in the
third assessment district of the city of Baltimore
within the time prescribed in this Act, it shall be
competent for the Board of Control and Review
for said third district to employ assessors of other
assessment districts of said city who may have
completed their assessments to assist in the assess-
ment of property in the said third district, and
the assessment so made shall be as valid and bind-
ing in law as if they had resided in said assess-
ment district one year previously, as is provided
for in section three of the Act to which this is a
supplement. |

Sec. 7. And be it enacted. That the Board of
Control and Review for the third district of the
city of Baltimore be and they are hereby autho-
rized and empowered to appoint an additional
clerk, who shall be allowed the same compensation
per day as clerks now appointed are allowed, and
the extra clerk heretofore employed by said Board
of Control and Review shall receive the same
compensation, from the date of their service. |

take effect from the date of its passage. |
