The Clerk of the House of Delegates delivered the follow" ing bills: A bill to authorize the Mayor and City Councils of Balti- more, to furnish aid towards the construction of the Western Maryland Railroad, from Hagerstown to Cumberland; Which was read the first time and referred to the commit- tee on Corporations. A bill to amend an Act incorporating the Western Mary- land Railroad Company; Which was read the first time and referred to the commit- tee on Corporations. The bill incorporating the Baltimore and Liberty Turn- pike Company; Was read the third time, and passed by yeas and nays as follow:
Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates. The bill for the repairing or building a new Jail in Cecil County; |
