Mr. Earle reported a bill changing the local laws of Queen Anne; Which was read the first time; By special order the second; and Ordered to be engrossed for a third reading; Was read the third, time by special order, and passed by yeas and nays as follow: AFFIRMATIVE.
NEGATIVE—None. Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates. Mr. Eaton from the select committee, reported a bill in fa- vor of the Magnetic Telegraph Company; Which was real the first time. The bill in favor of Whitney, Medairy & Gushing; Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading. The bill in favor of the Wicomice & Pocomoke R. R. Co.; Was read the third time by special order; and passed by yeas and nays, as follow: |
