AN ACT to authorize Thomas J. White and oth-
ers of Howard county to convey certain house
and land to Arthur P. German and others. |

convey land. |
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General assembly
of Maryland, That Thomas J. White, Edward
Snowden, John G. Holland, James Nichols,
George Wheeler and Alfred S. Riggs, or a ma-
jority of them, trustees of All Saints Church in
said county, be and they are hereby authorized
and empowered if in their judgment the public
interest shall require it, to convey by deed duly
executed and acknowledged according to law, a
lot of ground with the improvements thereon, sit-
uated in Howard county, called Warfield's Ne-
glect, containing one acre more or less, and which
was conveyed to the said Thomas J. White and
others, by Ann L. Moore by deed bearing date the
first day of June, eighteen hundred and sixty-one,
to Arthur G. German, Thomas J. White, Arte-
mus Donelson, James Nichols, George Wheeler,
Alfred Scaggs and John G. Holland, as trustees
of All Saints Methodist Protestant Church and
their successors according to the constitution and
discipline of the said church. |

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage. |
