flicting with the provisions of this Act are hereby

repealed, modified or altered by the Legislature at

AN ACT to repeal sections five and eight of the Act
passed January session, eighteen hundred and
sixty-four, chapter fifteen, entitled, "an Act to aid
and encourage enlistments into the Maryland
regiments in service of the United States; and also
to repeal sections four and five of the Act passed
at the January session, eighteen hundred and
sixty-five, chapter thirty-three, entitled, "an
Act to provide bounty for soldiers entering the
service of the United States, to fill the quotas of
Maryland under the call of the President of the
United States, of December, eighteen hundred
and sixty-four, and under future calls." |

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That section five and section eight
of the Act passed at the January session, eighteen
hundred and sixty-four, chapter fifteen, entitled
"an Act to aid and encourage enlistments into the
Maryland regiments in service of the United
States, relating to the issuing of State bonds not
exceeding four millions of dollars, as a defence
loan, and to levy a special tax of ten cents on
every hundred dollars of assessable property, be
and the same are hereby severally repealed. |
