uel V. Mace; provided, that the said commis-
sioners or the survivors of them, shall first be
satisfied that the said lands have been paid for to
the heirs at law and persons entitled to the pro-
ceeds of sale of the said lands as the property of
the said Ann Maria Brice and sold by commis-
sioners to the said John Hendrix, and also that
the heirs at law of the said John Hendrix, or the
guardian for the minor heirs of said John Hen-
drix shall have been paid for their respective pro-
portions of the proceeds of sale of said land, by
the said Samuel E. Baker or his representatives,
as made by the commissioners appointed by the
said Circuit Court of Queen Anne's county, to di-
vide the real estate of the said John Hendrix, de-
ceased. |

Sec. 2. And be it, enacted. That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage. |

AN ACT to repeal an Act passed at the January .
Session, in the year eighteen hundred and sixty-
seven, entitled, an Act to repeal the Sections of
the fourth Article of the Local Public Laws of
the City of Baltimore, relative to the qualifica-
tions of electors in said city, and regulating the
times for holding elections for Mayor and the
Members of the City Council, and the terms of
and the time for entering upon the duties of said
offices, and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments, and also to repeal the two hundred and
thirteenth and two hundred and twenty-second
Sections of the fourth Article of the Code of Pub-
lic Local laws relating to the city of Baltimore,
the time of entering upon the duties of their of-
fices respectivley, and to amend and re-enact |
