the corporation, sell their property and settle up
the business of the concern, in case they do not
agree to any proposed alteration in their charter,
and in case of the repeal of the charter, they shall
also have the right to settle up the affairs of the
corporation in the mode hereinbefore provided. |

Sec. 7. And be it enacted. That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage. |

AN ACT to repeal section four; of chapter three,
of the Act of eighteen hundred and sixty-five,
chapter one hundred and sixty, entitled "school
house sites," and section one of chapter one enti-
tled, "sources of income," of the Act of eigh-
teen hundred and sixty-five, chapter one hun-
dred and sixty, entitled, an Act to add a new
Article to the Code of Public General Laws, to
be entitled, Public Instruction, providing a uni-
form system of free public schools, for the State
of Maryland, and to repeal all existing laws
inconsistent therewith, and to re-enact the same
with amendments. |

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That section four of chapter three,
of the Act of eighteen hundred and sixty-five,
chapter one hundred and sixty, entitled, "school
house sites," and section one of chapter one, en-
titled, "sources of income," of the Act of eighteen
hundred and sixty-five, chapter one hundred and
sixty, entitled, an Act to add a new Article to the
Code of Public General Laws, to be entitled, pub-
lic instruction, providing a uniform system of free
public schools lor the State of Maryland, and to
repeal all existing laws inconsistent therewith, be
and the same are hereby repealed, and re-enacted
to read as follows: |
