any member thereof may prosecute and maintain
a suit at law or inequity against the company. |

Sec. 15. And be it enacted, That the General
Assembly reserves to itself the right at all times
to amend, alter or repeal this act. |

take effect from the date of its passage. |

AN ACT to amend the first section of the Act
passed at January session, eighteen hundred
and sixty, Chapter three hundred and three,
entitled, "An Act to carry into effect the
eighth section of the Act entitled, 'An Act for
the promotion of Internal Improvements,' "
passed at December session, eighteen hundred
and thirty-five, Chapter three hundred and
ninety-five. |

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That so much of the first section of
the Act passed at January session, eighteen hun-
dred and sixty. Chapter three hundred and three,
entitled, "An Act to carry into effect the eighth
section of the Act entitled, 'An Act for the pro-
motion of Internal Improvements,' " passed at
December session, eighteen hundred and thirty-
five. Chapter three hundred and ninety-five, as is
contained in the second proviso of said first sec-
tion of said Act, viz: "and provided further, that
the said Treasurer shall not pay more than one-
fourth of the whole amount applied under this
Act in any one year," be and the same is hereby
amended, so far as the said proviso applies to the |

Bohemia Bridge Company, in Cecil county; and
the Treasurer of the State be and he is hereby
authorized and directed, upon the warrant of the
Comptroller, to pay to the said Bohemia Bridge |
