of such land, fishery or fisheries or other property has sustained.
by the construction or use of said boom or booms or any fixture
or fixtures thereto appertaining; and? aid jury shall reduce
their inquisition to writing and shall sign and scad the same;
and it shall then be returned by said sheriff to the clerk of
his county, and by such clerk filed in his court, and shall be
confirmed by the Judge of said court at its next session, if no
sufficient cause 10 the contrary be shown, and. when confirm-
ed shall be recorded by said clerk at the expense of said com-
pany; but if set aside the judge shall direct another inquisi-
sition to be .held in the mode hereinbefore prescribed, and the
amount of damages adjudged on verdict by said jury, when,
confirmed by such judge, shall be paid by said corporation,
and the said court may render judgment against, the said
corporation on the verdict of said jury, and the judgment of
the court, which it is hereby authorized to pass on verdict as-
aforesaid may be enforced by execution in manner as any
judgment said court may be; and in all trials to recover
damages by proprietors of lands, fisheries or other property,
said company shall be liable for, and pay all legal costs ac-
cruing therein; and there shall be no appeal from the judg-
ment of said court, but the same shall be final and conclusive
upon the parties;
