10 Resoved, That Sprigg Harwood was not duly elected Clerk of the Circuit court of Anne Arundel county, at the election held in November, 1865, he having been ineligible to said office under section sixteen of article three of the Constitution of Maryland. Resolved, That George E. Gambrill, having received the highest number of legal votes cast for any duly qualified candidate for Clerk of the Circuit court of Anne Arundel county, at the election held in November, 1865, is declared to have been duly elected to that office, and entitled to the possession of the same.
