MARYLAND PENITENTIARY,
BALTIMORE, November 30, 1865.
To the President and Directors
of the Maryland Penitentiary :
GENTLEMEN:—I most respectfully herewith submit to your
Honorable Board the following statement and those annexed,
taken from the books of the Institution.

We have on hand as per inventory, the following : Pro-
visions, $986 58; Wood and Coal. $1,3.08 50; 465 yards of
new prison cloth, Cassinets, Drills, Brown Muslin, &c.,
amounting to $1,090 79 cash, making a total of 3,386 17.
