William Wilmots Petion had been granted, Only mr James Sangster, viz Crawford
Attorney; pleads the Rules of Court, informing that Crawford was arrested upon the
Court day and therefore not bound to answer, and therefore therefore the action was

The humble Petion of John: West Sheweth to yr Worships that yr petioner was Sumoned
to this Court where he attended nine dayes as a Wittness for Andrew: Speer & therefore
humbly Craves order for the same according to Act of Assembly and yr petr shall pray
Upon wch Petition the sd West made Oath to, and thereupon the Court granted him an
order agt the sd Speer for 9 dayes asd. 270lb. tobacco
