(142) Know all men by these presents that I John: Osborne of Pocetie Norton, in the County of Somerset Gent; doe acknowledge and confess my selfe to owe and am indebted unto Michael: Hannah and Adam Spence of the same County and Province aforesd, the just sum of eight thousand pounds of tobacco good and merchantble. which I promise to pay unto the abovesd Michael: Hannah and Adam Spence or to their Heirs Execcutors Admrs or Assigns, and for the true performance of the same to be well and truly paid, I bind me my Heirs, Execcutors. Admrs firmly by these presents, In testimony whereof I have here unto sett my hand this 29th. day of Septer. Anno. Seventy one pearches, then binding upon a pc Sould Joshua Light, North West halfe a point Northerly two hundred and fourteen perches, thence West by South, eighty three perches, thence by a streight line South east three degrees Southerly to the first bounded Redd Oake which is laid out for one hundred Acres be it more or less. pr me Jno.
