Maryland Somerset County Ss. (140)
Know all men by these presents that I Joseph ffreeman of Somerset County in the Province aforesaid
Carpenter
am holden and firmly bounden unto ffrancis Jenkins of the County aforesd Gentl in the full and just
Sum
or quantity of forty one thousand four hundred and fourty pounds of Merchantable tobacco in Caske to
be
paid to the said ffrancis, his certain attorney, his Heirs Execcutors, Admrs. or Assigns, to which payment well and
truly to be made and done, I bind my selfe my Heirs, Execcutors and Admrs. in the whole and for the
whole /
firmly by these presents. In witness whereof I have hereunto Sett and affixed my hand and seal this 20.
day of April Anoqe Domi. 1687.
The Condicon of this Present Obligacon. that if the above bounden Joseph: ffreeman his

Heirs, Execcutors or Admrs or Assigns, shall satisfie Content and pay or cause to be well
and truly satisfied contented and paid unto the above named ffrancis Jenkins, his Heirs
Execcuters, Admrs or Assigns or lawfull Attorney the full and just sum or Quantity of
Twenty thousand seven hundred and twenty pounds of good sound Merchantable
tobacco in
Caske at some one Convenient landing, within the County aforesd, that then this present

Obligation to be void and of none effect, otherwayes to stand and remain in full force
