interest on said certificates £. 3 0 4, and
£. 251 11 9 specie. For confiscated property £. 9

That it appears to your committee, certificates
for the liquidation and payment of debts against
persons convicted of treason and British subjects, and the supplementary
acts thereto, paid sundry
claimants, amounting to £. 65 0 0, and certificates for debts
adjusted to the amount of £. 56 5 10.
That your committee have counted and burnt the sum
of £. 23 13 0 of the bills of credit emitted
by an act of assembly of the 8th June, 1780, and the further sum of
£. 24 18 9 of the bills of
credit made by an act of congress of the 18th of March, 1780.
That your committee have examined and cancelled
certificates for debts adjusted to the amount of
£. 517 2 3, certificates for debts against persons convicted
of treason amounting to £. 403 6 7,
and the further sum of £. 6 10 0 journal certificates.
That it appears to your committee, by the accounts
of said treasurer, he hath paid away, from
the first of November, 1795, to November the first, 1796, 3066 dollars
73 cents 6 per cent.
stock, 2254 dollars 46 cents 3 per cent. stock, 1502 dollars 91 cents
deferred 6 per cent. stock, and
£. 52146 8 21/4 specie; for all which payments have been produced
to your committee the necessary
vouchers and receipts; and that there remains in the treasury the sum
of 337381 dollars 92 cents 6
per cent. stock, 259929 dollars 79 cents 3 per cent. stock, 60614 dollars
79 cents deferred 6 per
cent. stock, and £. 51980 12 41/2 specie; which sum of specie
is appropriated in the manner following,

That it appears to your committee there is the sum of
£. 8850 0 0 in the treasury of the emissions
made by an act of congress of the 18th of March, 1780, it being part of
the one tenth of
the bills that became issuable in exchange for old continental money, and
appropriated for the purpose
of calling out of circulation the bills of credit emitted by acts of assembly
and resolved of convention
of this state.
That your committee find, by the last report, there
was the sum of £. 3322 8 1 in said bills
remaining in the treasury, paid on account of British creditors; that since
the time the treasurer
