DELEGATE KIEFER: Mr. President,
I remind members of Personal Rights and
Preamble Committee of the meeting to-
night at 8:00 P.M.
THE PRESIDENT: Delegate Morgan.
DELEGATE MORGAN: Mr. President,
the Committee on the Executive Branch
will meet immediately following adjourn-
ment of this session to consider a proposal
of Delegate Robie relating to the merit
system.
We will meet again tomorrow morning at
9:00 A.M. to consider a proposal by Dele-
gate Maurer relating to the merit system
and proposal by Delegate Lloyd Taylor
and then a proposal by Delegate Grant.
Mr. Grant's proposal was re-referred to
us from the Committee on Suffrage and
Elections.
I hope all members of the committee will
attend as promptly as possible.
THE PRESIDENT: Delegate Penniman.
DELEGATE PENNIMAN: Mr. Presi-
dent, there will be a meeting of the Com-
mittee on Style at 7:45 P.M. this evening.
THE PRESIDENT: Any other an-
nouncements?

DELEGATE GALLAGHER: Mr. Presi-
dent, there will be a meeting of the Com-
mittee on the Legislative Branch at 8:00
P.M. tonight, at 9:00 A.M. tomorrow morn-
ing and again tomorrow night at 8:00 P.M.
THE PRESIDENT: Any other an-
nouncements by committee chairmen? If not
the Chair recognizes Delegate Wheatley.
DELEGATE WHEATLEY: Mr. Presi-
dent, there will be a meeting of the General
Provisions Committee during luncheon re-
cess tomorrow.
THE PRESIDENT: Delegate Schloeder.
DELEGATE SCHLOEDER: Mr. Chair-
man, a point of personal privilege. Some
colleagues of mine on the floor who were
not members of the bar have asked me to
express their thanks and mine to Delegates
Mudd and Johnson for their presentation
this afternoon and also to say how happy

recommendation of the committee. Will
they be distributed by tomorrow?
THE PRESIDENT: Which committee?
DELEGATE MITCHELL: Judicial
Branch Committee.
THE PRESIDENT: You did not have it
last week? It was distributed quite a while
ago. It is not in your book on the desk.
DELEGATE MITCHELL: Not in the
book.
THE PRESIDENT: Will any delegates
who do not have Committee Report JB-1,
Committee Memorandum JB-1, stand.
Apparently the omission is in one area.
DELEGATE MITCHELL: I think Dele-
gate Miller got one.
THE PRESIDENT: We will see they
are supplied this evening. They are avail-
able. Are there any other announcements?
