526 CONSTITUTIONAL CONVENTION OF MARYLAND [Nov. 8]
THE CHAIRMAN: In view of that fact,
the Chair recognizes Delegate Powers.
(Laughter.)
DELEGATE POWERS: Mr. Chairman,
I move the Committee of the Whole rise and
report that it has not concluded its con-
sideration of Committee Recommendation
LB-I.
THE CHAIRMAN: Is there a second?
(Whereupon, the motion was duly sec-
onded,)
THE CHAIRMAN: All those in favor
signify by saying Aye; contrary, no. The
Ayes have it. The motion is carried.
(Whereupon, at 6:10 P.M., the Committee
of the Whole rose, and the Convention re-
convened.)
(The mace was replaced by the Sergeant-
at-Arms.)
PLENARY SESSION
NOVEMBER 8, 1967—6:10 P.M.
PRESIDENT H. VERNON ENEY,
PRESIDING
THE PRESIDENT: The Convention will
come to order.
On behalf of the Committee of the Whole
I wish to report the Committee of the
Whole has had under consideration Com-
mittee Recommendation LB-I, and it is still
.under consideration when the Committee
desires to sit again.
The Chair recognizes Delegate Powers.
Before recognizing Delegate Powers, is
any Delegate present now, absent at roll
call, who desires to indicate his presence?
Delegate Frank Robey.
DELEGATE ROBEY: I would like to
record my presence.
THE PRESIDENT: Delegate Sickles.
DELEGATE SICKLES: I would like to
record my presence.
THE PRESIDENT: Delegate Koger.
DELEGATE KOGER: I would like to
record my presence.
THE PRESIDENT: Delegate Mason.
DELEGATE MASON: I would like to
record my presence.
THE PRESIDENT: Delegate Malkus.
DELEGATE MALKUS: I would like to
record my presence, not only today, but
also yesterday, Mr. President.
(Laughter.)
THE PRESIDENT: Does any other dele-
gate desire to note his presence?
Delegate Boyles.
DELEGATE BOYLES: Delegate Boyles
would like to record his presence.
THE PRESIDENT: Does any other dele-
gate desire to note his presence?
Delegate Moser.
DELEGATE MOSER: I would like to
record my presence.
THE PRESIDENT: Does any other
delegate?
Delegate MacDonald.
DELEGATE MACDONALD: I would
like to record my presence.
THE PRESIDENT: Does any other
delegate?
The Chair recognizes Delegate Powers.
Sorry — Delegate Storm.
DELEGATE STORM: I would like to
have my presence recorded.
THE PRESIDENT: Delegate Stern.
DELEGATE STERN: I would like to
record my presence.
THE PRESIDENT: Does any other
delegate?
(There was no response.)
The Chair recognizes Delegate Powers.
DELEGATE POWERS: I move to ad-
journ to 10:00 A.M. tomorrow.
(Whereupon, the motion was duly sec-
onded.)
THE PRESIDENT: All those in favor,
signify by saying Ave; contrary, No. The
Ayes have it. It is so ordered.
(Whereupon, at 6:12 P.M., the Convention
was adjourned to reconvene at 10:00 A.M.,
