lady, Miss Kelsey Kauffman, who is sitting
at the board. There are some problems
with it. If you do not hear your voice being
transmitted through the microphone, will
you pause a moment, and see if we can
correct the trouble because even though
your voice may be loud enough to be heard
throughout the chamber, it will not be on
the tape unless it goes through the audio
system.

of the Committee on the Executive Branch.
DELEGATE MORGAN: Mr. Chairman,
the Committee on Executive Branch will
meet tomorrow morning at 9:00 A.M. in-
stead of 10:00 A.M. in Room H-4 in the
basement of the State House. The Com-
mittee room will be open this afternoon,
and the delegate room, so that you can all
come down and look over the quarters.

Branch.
DELEGATE MUDD: Mr. President, the
Committee on the Judicial Branch will meet
tomorrow morning at 9:00 A.M. in the room
designated H-9, in the lower floor of the
State House; likewise, the staff and I will
be there this afternoon, and we welcome
the opportunity to meet the members of
the Committee.

Committee on State Finance and Taxation.
DELEGATE SHERBOW: Mr. President,
the Committee on State Finance and Taxa-
tion will meet tomorrow morning at 9:00
A.M. The meeting will be in our Committee
room, which is in the Shaw House. It is
right across the street in the old Elks Club
building; we are on the second floor. I hope
you will go over there this afternoon, look
around and get acquainted, and meet the
staff.

Committee on Local Government.
DELEGATE MOSER: Mr. President, the
Committee on Local Government will meet
at 9:00 A.M. tomorrow morning. Our offices
are open now, and I hope that the members

DELEGATE BOYER: Mr. President, the
Committee on General Provisions will meet
tomorrow morning at 9:00 A.M. sharp on
the third floor of the Jeffrey Building on
Francis Street, and like our colleagues, we
extend the invitation to all Committee mem-
bers to come down this afternoon to ac-
quaint yourselves with your new quarters
and meet the staff and generally get to-
gether. Thank you very much.

DELEGATE GALLAGHER: Mr. Chair-
man, the Committee on the Legislative
Branch will meet tomorrow morning at
9:00 A.M. in H-8, downstairs in the State
House, which is the regular Ways and
Means Committee meeting room. Like the
other hospitable chairmen, I similarly ex-
tend an invitation to all the Committee
members, their spouses and friends, to be
with us this afternoon at our open house.

A few very brief housekeeping announce-
ments, if you will:
Postage for the delegates is available for
you. Each delegate will be allowed a maxi-
mum of $25 of postage through the session.
That is not available at the moment, but
you will be able to get two rolls, $10 of
postage, simply by stopping at Mr. Mar-
tineau's office. Mr. Martineau is occupying
the office normally occupied by the Clerk of
the House.
Harbor Tunnel passage for delegates can
be obtained. Any delegate who lives in an
area of the City or County which requires
him, or if it makes it more convenient for
him to use the Harbor Tunnel, may secure
passage if he will see Mr. Martineau.
I.D. cards will be prepared for each dele-
gate. It is necessary that you go to have a
small photograph taken. If you will do this
as promptly as possible, certainly today or
tomorrow, by going to the Alcohol Beverage
Division at the State Office Building.
I stand corrected. You cannot do it today.
Today is a holiday; so you will have to do
it tomorrow or the next day.
With weather such as we have now, you
do not need lockers, but you will later. |
