whole' I appreciate the problems, but jf these ladies
and gentlemen don't think we can do it this way, I chal-
lenge them now to tell us how we can remedy it.
This is too serious; if there is one thing more
deeply implanted in our civilization than eminent domain,
it is that ownership of our property that we have strug-
gled to gain and to maintain.
I beg you to give these people this relief.
I expect I have overrun my time, but I would like to
remind you that this problem goes all the way back to the
day that Robert Burns disturbed the wee timorous mouse
who he turned up with his plowshare.
