Executive Branch of government and referred on to the

Legislature for further action. These are several of

my reasons for the adoption of Resolution No. 11 and I

4

urge you to give it a favorable vote.

5

THE PRESIDENT: Is there any further discussion?

6

Are you ready for the question? Although the resolution

7

does not in terras amend the rules, its adoption would,

8

it seems to me, be substantially equivalent to amendment

9

of the rules and I would therefore like to have a roll

10

call vote. A vote Aye is a vote in favor of the resolution

11

notwithstanding the unfavorable report of the committee.

12

A vote No is a vote against the adoption of the resolution

13

(Whereupon the roll call was taken.)

has every delegate voted? Does any delegate

15

desire to change his vote? If not, the Clerk will record

16

the vote. There being 12 votes in the affirmative and 120

17

in the negative , the resolution is lost.

Next item on the calendar is introduction ana

first reading of proposals. There are nine proposals,

20

numbers 356 to 305. I call your attention to the fact

21
