DELEGATE MUDD: Mr. President, the Committee

on Judicial Branch will meet again at 3 o'clock immediately

following the conclusion of this session at which time we

will consider Delegate Proposal No. 262, introduced by

Delegate Carson and having to do with the office of sheriff

8

We will also pursue that subject further this afternoon

9

by at the same time considering Delegate Proposal No. 262

10

and 290, Tomorrow morning we resume hearing witnesses and

11

have the privilege of hearing from Vice President James

12

at 10 a.m., Executive Director Karlen of the Institute

13

of Judicial Administration at 10:30, Honorable Perry Bowen

14

of the Prince Frederick Circuit Court at 11:30,

At this time, Mr. President, I would like to

remind the delegates that the Convention's Committee on

17

Judicial branch is making a final effort to have the

18

benefit of the views of all witnesses who might like to

19

appear before this Committee at a public hearing to in:
