private law. Delegate Fox.
DELEGATE FOX: The point I want to make is that I don't see any necessity for this section in this Article
at all or else there is no necessity for the local govern-
ment provisions that has been put in. We only need one
of them. By having both of them, I am afraid we are
causing confusion.
THE CHAIRMAN: Your comment, however, is not
directed to the amendment particularly, as I take it?
DELEGATE FOX: Unfortunately, no, it is directed
to the whole section which is what should be deleted.
THE CHAIRMAN: Yes. Is there any further
discussion? Are you ready for the question?
(Cries of "Yes".)
THE CHAIRMAN: The question arises on the
adoption of the Amendment 25. A vote Aye is a vote in
favor of the amendment; a vote No is a vote against. Cast
your vote.
Ring the quorum bell, please. Cast your votes.
Has every delegate voted? Does any delegate
desire to change his vote? |
