nrevent such a happening in the" General Asseroblv?
THE CHAIRMAN:- Delecrate James.
DELEGATE JAMES: I think it couic easily happen
thgt mechanical equinment could break down, especiallv
in the last days of the session and this would be simply
catastrophic. It would he, -- you know, we are at the
rr.ercy of he stenographers in this state. They have a
preftv good system. There are not too many of them and
they charge pretty well, and if a stenographer would hap-
pen to get sick, or it were late at night and you didn't
have another stenographer handv, I don't know what you
would do. I guess you would have to simply hold UP until
you could get a stenographer.
i THE CHAIRMAN: Delegate Roger.
DELEGATE KOGER: Delegate James, don't
you think that if you have tenscripts of your dehates
that the average delegate could plan to execute what he
savs perhaps with greater care?
THE CHAIR.MAN: Deleqate James.
DELEGATE JAES: Well, if this is any sample
here, I wonder. |
