THE CHAIRMAN: The question now arises on
Amendment 16.
Does any person desire to speak on the amendment,
either for or against?
Delegate Gallagher, are you ready? Delegate
Malkus.
DELEGATE MALKUS; Mr. President, I don't want to
be left out. I don't know why Harry and Brother Taylor
were given the opportunity to speak, but we have to get a
little looss. You were talking about Workmens" Compensation.
My question to you is this, and I hope you will take it in
the spirit in which I ask it. Are we by any means in
violation of the minimum wage law?
THE CHAIRMAN: The Chair would have to inquire
of the Attorney General about that. (Laughter).
Are you ready for the question on Amendment 16?
