do that.
Delegate Beall, I think it would be very
appropriate if you would bring Mr. Ritter to the
well of the chamber and introduce him to the Convention.
DELEGATE BEALL: Mr. President, fellow Dele-
gates, for your personal inspection, 1 present our newly
elected Delegate who you so graciously have elected.
1 want to introduce to you Mr. Harold Ritter, and I ask
that he be Sworn in this afternoon.
Mr. Ritter. (Applause.)
MR. RITTER: Thank you, Mr. President and
fellow Delegates. It will be indeed a pleasure and
a distinct honor to serve this State. I am sorry
that we have to lose such a distinguished and able Delegate
as Mr. Webster from Allegany County, but I will do my
best, although I have large shoes to fill. I will be
here working for the best interests of the State of
Mary land. with you.
