(Roll call vote was taken.)
THE PRESIDENT: Have all the Delegates
voted now? Does any Delegate desire to change his vote?
If not, the Clerk will record the vote.
There being 129 votes in the affirmative, none
in the negative, Mrs. Agnes White Smith is declared
elected as the Delegate from the Third District of
Baltimore City.
Delegate Vecera.
DELEGATE VECERA: Mr. President, I would like
to request at this time that the newly appointed Delegates
to this Convention -- I see one sitting in the gallery --
be invited to sit for the remainder of the session with
us this afternoon.
THE PRESIDENT: I would be delighted to do
that. I don't know who is in the gallery. Are they
behind me?
DELEGATE VECERA: I see Delegate Ritter
sitting there. I congratulate him. I would like to have
him sit with us for the remainder of the afternoon.
We have a seat available for him.
