to reconsider the vote by which the Committee of the Whole
approved the committee recommendation as amended, and to
>
reconsider the vote by which the amendment to Committee
Recommendation No. 2 was approved? Is that your motion?
DELEGATE GLEASON: That is correct.
Is that motion seconded?
THE CHAIRMAN: For what purpose does Delegate
Sybert rise?
DELEGATE SYBERT: A matter of parliamentary
inquiry
THE CHAIRMAN: State the inquiry.
DELEGATE SYBERT: Is it parliamentarily
correct to reconsider the votes on two separate motions?
THE CHAIRMAN: As the Chair indicated when a
similar question arose several days ago, that is the only
way in which the motion to reconsider the amendment could
be put to the Committee of the Whole. I think it is proper, and I so ruled several
days ago.
The Chair recognizes Delegate Gleason to speak
to the motion. |
