Constitution to the various committees; attached as
the last half dozen pages is the same material that is in
the first four pages but arranged by committees, so that
you can see for each committee what portions of the present
Constitution have been assigned for study.
Let me again repeat what I said on Friday,
that the effort has been made to assign provisions of
the existing Constitution to committees for study in
such a manner that only one committee has the primary res-
ponsibility. Other committees have had their attention
called to provisions, in some instances, even though they
are not primarily assigned that provision. Obviously, we
would hope that you are familiar with all of the present
Constitution and the purpose of the memorandum is merely
an effort to fix the responsibility for detailed con-
sideration of particular provisions.
