they will be announced to the Convention.
I wish to announce also that the Second
Vice-president James, who was present this morning, is
absent this afternoon and will be absent tomorrow and
Wednesday. He is on behalf of the Convention attending
the National Legislative Conference at San Antonio,
Texas, where he is reading a paper dealing with the work
of this Convention. The request was made of the Conven-
tion by the National Legislative Conference.
It gives me pleasure to advise you that
tomorrow, on September 26, the Convention will have an
interested observer from another country, Mr. Seyse Tadeff
I am not certain of the pronunciation of the name, but I
believe that is correct. I understand that he prefers to
be called Mr. Sass.
He is a member of the Parliament of Ethiopia.
He will be here tomorrow, escorted by representatives of
the United States Department of State. He will arrive
sometime between 9:15 and 10:15 tomorrow morning and plans
to spend the day. He will be attending committee meetings |
