Maryland the delegates of [the Convention assembled and

organized on July 11, 1967; and

Whereas, Section 10 of said chapter provides at

4

least ten days prior to September 12, 1967, the Governor,

5

by Proclamation, shall issue a call upon the delegates to

6

assemble on that date;

Now, therefore, I, Spiro T. Agnew, Governor

8

of the State of Maryland, pursuant to and under

9

the authority of the aforesaid section of Chapter IV of the

10

1967 Laws of Maryland, do hereby solemnly proclaim and

11

issue a call for the delegates to the said Constitutional

12

Convention to assemble in the Chamber of the House of Dele-

13

gates at the State House in the City of Annapolis, on

14

Tuesday, September 12, 1967, at 12:00 o'clock Noon in

15

plenary session, given under my hand and the Great Seal of

16

Maryland in the City of Annapolis on this 29th day of August

17

in the year of our Lord 1967.

THE PRESIDENT: We will now have the invocation by
