I have been requested to announce so that the
delegates and the committee chairmen may know that the
staff meeting of all committee staff advisers and admin-
istrative assistants will be held on September 20, that is
Wednesday, at two p.m., in the office of the Chief of
Staff, Room H-105, tomorrow at two p.m., for all committee
staff advisers and committee administrative assistants.

DELEGATE SHERBOW: This being a historic occa-
sion, I would like to report a first. The absence of Mr.
Perry E. Darby is due to the fact that early this morning
his wife gave birth to a little six and a half-pound
girl.
