answer inquiries as to every phase of the operations of the

invention. They are to be of service and will, upon the
|

request of any representative of the news media or any
|
4
|
member of the public, obtain information necessary to answer
|
5
|
any reasonable inquiry. It will be our purpose to have complete
|
6
|
and current coordination between each committee and the infor-
|
7
|
mation service through the medium of the administrative as-
|
8
|
sistants so that the information service will be aware of
|
9
|
what is happening in every committee at all times.

It should be noted at this point that the State
|
11
|
Department of Education has also worked out for the secon-
|
12
|
dary schools of the State a course of study on the need for
|
13
|
constitutional revision in Maryland, and the activities of
|
14
|
this Convention will become ,an important part of the
|
15
|
teaching in those schools of civics, history and of courses
|
16
|
in the problems of democracy. The Constitutional Conven-
|
17
|
tion Commission and your officers have cooperated with the
|
18
|
State Department of Education in this project, and the
|
19
|
State Superintendent of Schools a few days ago issued an
|
20
|
elaborate resource guide on the Maryland Constitutional
|
21
|
Convention comprising approximately 115 pages and designed
