Delegate Storm. (Applause)

2

(The Honorable Edward D. Storm, Delegate from

3

Frederick County, seated at the historic desk from the

4

Old Senate Chamber, affixed his signature to the draft

5

Constitution.)

6

THE PRESIDENT: Delegate Malkus. (Applause)

7

(The Honorable Frederick C. Malkus, Jr.,

a

Delegate from Dorchester County, seated at the historic

9

desk from the Old Senate Chamber, affixed his signature

10

to the draft Constitution.)

11

THE PRESIDENT: The reading clerk will now call

12

the remaining delegates in alphabetical order.

13

Consideration was given to calling the names in

14

reverse alphabetical order, but it was abandoned because

15

the quality of the paper on which the Constitution is printed

16

is such that although it has been drying for some hours,

17

it is not thoroughly dry, and we are afraid of smearing.

18

The delegates will please, as they leave their

19

chairs, go to the back of the chamber so you can walk forward

20

as your name is called.

21

The clerk will call the roll of delegates.
