DELEGATE HARDWICKE: Mr. President, this is

merely a housekeeping amendment. "3.04 was amended since
|
|

|
we drew the Transitional Provisions, and it now contains
|
|
8
|
the provision with respect to the division of Senate
|
|
9
|
districts into three districts for the House of Delegates,
|
|
10
|
and we have to suspend that along with the other provisions
|
|
11
|
with regard to the new legislature until the election of
|
|
12
|
1970, and the purpose of this is to make it clear that that
|
|
13
|
provision also is suspended until 1970, and it is in
|
|
14
|
keeping with other things we have done and I urge its
|
|
15
|
adoption.
