the debate instead of going to the lounge, go to the
Chief Clerk's office, the Department of Legislative
Reference, down the hall. Leave by the rear door and you
will find Dr. Phillips there. Tell him what you want and
he will see it is taken care of very promptly.
The Chair recognizes Delegate Sherbow, Chairman
of the Committee on State Finance and Taxation, to present
the Committee Recommendation SF-1.
DELEGATE SHERBOW: Mr.Chairman, ladies and
gentlemen of the committee, this recommendation is SF-I and
in a moment I will discuss the amendment to it, but I would
ask you for the sake of avoidance of confusion, there is a
third or fourth paper in your book which is headed up
Committee Report No. 1 and the first paragraph is a report
on a reported omission, et cetera. Please put that aside.
It has nothing to do with the subject matter that comes
up first. Some books have it at the very beginning, it
might be confusing. We will take that up later.
THE PRESIDENT: To make that clearer to you,
the recommendation you are now considering is printed on
blue paper. |
