DELEGATE BOROM: Mr. President, my favorite

moniker for such action is Speedy Gonzalez, but in a more

4

serious vein, now that we have had a brief respite from

5

handclapping — and my hands are going to be swollen

6

this evening; but it will be for a good cause — I

7

would like to bring your attention to the presence and ask

8

you to welcome the three children of Delegate Key. Their

9

names are Leon, Leroy, and Angela. They are seated in

10

the rear balcony, and I hope you will give them a hearty

11

welcome. (Applause.)

THE PRESIDENT: Delegate Clagett.

DELEGATE CLAGETT: And may the three children of

14

Delegate Key assume and achieve her proportions. (Applause.)

THE PRESIDENT: Delegate Wheatley.

DELEGATE WHEATLEY: Mr. Chairman, the Committee

17

on General Provisions of this Convention has been noted

18

for many things, one of which was the first report to the

19

Committee of the Whole.
